under way.

For purpose of verifying fire-sprínkler requírements, Garfield County Building Division calculates square

horízontal roof projections (i.e covered porches and decks) that are attached to the buildíng.
Based on the square footages provided on the application form and archítects drawings, I count:
Finished Livíng Space 3,059 sq ft + conditíoned garage t,t}L sq ft + covered porches 680 sq ft = total fire area
of 4,840 square feet.
Pursuant to the plat note requirement, this residential use will need to be fire-sprinklered.
Fire sprinkler permits, reviews and rough-in and final sprinkler inspections are administered directly by
Glenwood Springs Rural Fire Protection District.
For zoníng compliance, I will need to receíve a written or verbal sign off for the proposed fire suppression
system from the Fire Marshal beþre releasing this buílding permit.

project is PENDING and awaiting sígn off from the Fire Marshal Greg Bak, I do not anticípate there will be an extra plan
check fee to process the new sheets. New pages for DOUGLAS can be put directly in my office, nothing further needs
