OWTS Permit #: SEPT‐7014
September 1, 2022
Glenn,
On August 23, 2022, we visited the residence under construction at 124 Juniper Lane near
Carbondale in Garfield County, Colorado to observe the OWTS installation pursuant to OWTS Permit #
SEPT‐7014. At the time of our site visit, the contractor had installed the new sewer line, the new
cleanout adjacent to the residence, the new 1,500‐gallon two‐compartment septic tank, the new
effluent line, the new distribution box, and the four gravelless chamber trenches. The septic tank and
distribution box were installed level, with access brought to grade. The chamber trenches were level,
with 12 ARC 36 chambers per trench (48 chambers total, 720 ft2). Additionally, inspection ports were
present at each end of each trench. In our opinion, this system was installed in general conformance
with Garfield County OWTS Regulations. No further action or review from Garfield County
Environmental Health is required regarding this permit. Please provide an As‐Built drawing of the
system, when available, for our files.
Thank you,
