Hello Colleen, thank you for your email. Our home ís being delívered by Northstar systems built on January 10. The
house will be set with a crane and will be joíníng together that day. Then we will call in electricians and plumbers to
fínish their work to hook up all facilities, and then the company will come back and finish anything that needs to be
patched up, roof etc. sheet rock during the shipping process. At that point, we wíll be ready to for our final inspection on
the home to move in. The house comes finíshed with appliances, flooring lighting etc.
The garage does not accompany the prefabricated home. My husband and l, along with a contractor, are going to add
the attached garage onto the existing building ourselves. We were requesting to be able to líve ín our finíshed home and
attach the garage immediately following that certificate of occupancy. We were símply just wanting to separate the
permit from the full house from the attached garage. The foundation for the garage was completed yesterday. There is
a full slab on there.
Since our home delivery is in the middle of winter, this allows us to have a warm place to live while we are finishing that
phase 2 of construction (if we want to refer to it that by adding the garage). We have already ordered materials for that
project: trusses, etc. so we plan on doíng it immediately after we're able to move into the home. I hope this clarifies?
Please feel free to call me. I am here all day 97A-456-2769.

Courtesy message for Míchael and Lisa,
l've been looking over your resubmitted plans and want to make certain l'm clearing understandíng your
intentíons for the project movíng forward.
Description of work lists: "Separate garage construction from house construction due to incoming
ínclement weather".
As there appear to be no archítectural revisions to the Architectural pages dated7128/2022 and
Structural plan pages dated 8/31"/2022-
Am I to understand there are no buildíng design changes and the scope of the request is to construct the
HOUSE during PHASE L of construction -
And to proceed with the GARAGE during Phase 2 of construction?
Do you wislr or need to obtain occupâncy and 1 pcrlnancnt financing / and u Cc¡tifici:tc of Occupancy for
the home in the next few months?
How soon do you anticipate constructing the attached garage Phase 2?
Wíll the garage be postponed for less than 6 months?
Or do you envision the garage being deferred for one or more years or longer?
lf you need a Certífícate of Occupancy and ability to move into the house ín near term, then we will
probably look at some administrative steps in the offíce to create a new buílding permit number for the
attached garage -
Allowing the garage scope to have separate folder and inspection cards to reflect that phase of work.
l'm trying to process the request in a manner that best suits your project phasing and occupancy needs.
Please clarify and confirm scope changes at your convenience,
Thanks, have a good weekend,
