At the time of our site visits, the contractor had installed the new sewer line, the new cleanout adjacent to the building, a new 1,500-gallon two-compartment septic tank with a pump in the second chamber of the tank, the new pump line, the Automatic Distribution Valve (ADV), and the two three-row gravelless chamber beds. The septic tank and ADV were installed level with access brought to grade. The ADV was also installed at the high point of the system. The chamber beds were level, and consisted of 15 Infiltrator Quick4 chambers per row, for 90 total chambers (1,080 ft2). Additionally, inspection ports were present at each end of each trench. The distribution laterals ended in a sweeping 90-degree bend facing up with a ball valve to allow flushing of the laterals. In our opinion, this system was installed in general conformance with Garfield County OWTS Regulations. No further action or review from Garfield County Environmental Health is required regarding this permit. Please provide an As- Built drawing of the system, when available, for our files.
