To Whom it May Concern,
Based on in situ conditions at the above referenced project, the beam penetrations in the 11 7/8” BCI
6000’s are structurally acceptable. These penetrations, identified in the attached images, have been
reviewed for conformance with the Boise Cascade Engineered Wood Products Western Specifier Guide.
In addition, the structural capacity of these joists have been analyzed with the identified penetrations
and found to be within allowable demand/capacity limits.
