We understand an increase in design bearing pressure from 1,500 psf to 1,750 psf is desired on an interior footing pad built during the original construction. Since the observed soils are relatively dense, the proposed increase in bearing pressure is acceptable. If you have any questions or need further assistance, please call our office.
