CIVIL/GEOTECHNICAL RE: Soil and Site Evaluation O\ryTS - 2 Bedroom Bran with ADU Lot3-4, Fairview Rd, Silt 3207 CF.#342, PIN 245502200038 Garfield County, Colorado Project No.22-3606 Dear Kim and Jake, On April 23 and September 9,2022, we visited your property on Lot3-4, Fairview Rd, Silt, 3207 CR#342, PIN 245502200038, Garfield County, Colorado. The purpose of our site visits was to select an aîea on the property for the proposed Soil Treatment Areas for the barn with an ADU (Additional Dwelling Unit). During the site visits, Jake dug two profile holes. The OWTS will consist of a 10O0-gallons, two-compartments concrete septic tank by Valley Precast with an effluent filter, and a Soil Treatment Area consisting of 88 Quick 4 Plus, Standard Infiltrator Chambers in trenches connected with a serial Distribution. The site plan by your architect Paul Roberts, was used as a basis for the septic system design. Directions to the site from the Silt exit on I-70 are as follows: Left on River Frontage Road to 16th Sfeet (CR 311) to Dry Hollow Road for about 1.6 miles, and continue on Dry Hollow Road, for 8.9 mi to CR 342,turn right on CR342 and continue for 2.4 mi to the property. The site is on the right (west) side of the road. o Preliminary Investigation n Address: The County website has it listed as 3207 312 County Rd, Silt, co, gl652. n Legal Description: Section: 2 Township: I Range: 92 LOTS 3 (37.3 AC.) & 4 (37.06 AC.), Garfield County, Colorado.! Existing Structures: There were no existing structures in the area of the proposed building sites. l n Location of existing and proposed wells on property: [4/e understand that the well will be drilled obout 100 yards from the building sites.n Garfield County Environmental Health Department records: There were no old record. The property was vacant. Topography: The topography of the leachfield site had a gentle slope. Drainøge is to the north and east. Soil Data: The profile holes were observed on April 23 and September 9, 2022. The soil exposed in the profile holes was very uniþrm as follows: P.O. Topography The topography of the proposed leach/ìeld site is gentle. The rows of infiltrators in the trenches will run along the contours. n Vegetation: The vegetationwithin the proposed leachfield site consisted of meadow grass. The site surrounding the leachfieldwas similar. ! Natural and cultural features: Rolling hills, south of I-70, and south of the Town of Silt, rural, ranching communities ! Current and historic land use: The current use is residential and ranching. Prior use was ranching. Detailed Soil Investigation !
