OWTS Permit #: SEPT-7356
April 24, 2023
Mike,
On February 21, 2023, we visited the site of the Perdue Residence under construction at
357 CR 309 near Parachute in Garfield County, Colorado to observe the OWTS installation
pursuant to OWTS Permit # SEPT-7356. At the time of our site visit, the owner had installed the
new sewer line and cleanout adjacent to the residence, the new concrete 1,500-gallon two-
compartment septic tank with a head-head pump in the second compartment, the new effluent
line, the distribution box, and the one gravelless chamber bed containing 4 trenches. The septic
tank and distribution box were installed level with access brought to grade. A high-head pump
had been installed in the second compartment of the septic tank. The trenches were level, with
4-feet between the trenches. The trenches consisted of 19 Infiltrator Quick4 chambers per
trench (76 total chambers, 876 ft2 total STA). Additionally, inspection ports were present at each
end of each trench. In our opinion, this system was installed in general conformance with
Garfield County OWTS Regulations. No further action or review from Garfield County
Environmental Health is required regarding this permit.
Thank you,
