664 Saddle Drive
Carbondale, CO 81623
OWTS Permit #: SEPT-7681
May 12, 2023
Mike and Barbara,
On October 7, 2022, we visited the site of the residence under construction at 664
Saddle Drive near Carbondale in Garfield County, Colorado to observe the OWTS installation
pursuant to OWTS Permit # SEPT-7681. At the time of our site visit, the owner had installed the
new sewer line and cleanout adjacent to the residence, the new concrete 1,000-gallon two-
compartment septic tank, the new effluent line, the distribution box, and the four gravelless
chamber trenches. The septic tank and distribution box were installed level with access brought
to grade. An effluent filter had been installed in the outlet tee of the septic tank. The chambers in
the trenches were determined to be level, with 4-feet between the trenches. The trenches
consisted of 11 ARC 36 chambers per trench (44 total chambers, 660 ft2 total STA).
Additionally, inspection ports were present at each end of each trench. In our opinion, this
system was installed in general conformance with Garfield County OWTS Regulations. No
further action or review from Garfield County Environmental Health is required regarding this
permit.
Thank you,
Edward R. “Ted” White, P.E.
