Dear Mr. Mountjoy,
As requested, structural steel special inspection was conducted per the IBC 2Û18
Edition - Chapter l7: Structural Tests and Special Inspection and Garheld County
requirements. I arrived on site at 12:00 PM. I met with you to review project
requirements and materials ready for inspection'
High strength bolting inspection was conducted at the Roof Framing Plan level on
fheVr.",5/8", and %" ASTM 4325 high strength beam to beam and beam to column
bolted connections on this project. Project bolt tension requirements indicate o'Snug
Tight" as required on engineering approved stamped drawings provided by Heritage
Building Systems in North Little Rock, AR.: Job No. l8-8-53753 dated 8-11-22: Sheet
C2 - Bold Tightening. All main frame bolted connections were inspected for project bolt
tension requirements of 'osnug tight". Inspection was conducted at grid line A - E & I -
4. Upon completion, I observed all newly installed bolts to be in compliance with project
specifications and the inspection criteria of the American Institute of Steel Construction
(ASIC) Research Council on Bolted Connections (RCBC).
Anchor bolt inspection was conducted at the Foundation Plan level on all column
anchor bolts. Upon completion, all bolts were observed to be properly installed and all
bolt nuts to be tensioned to a snug tight condition.
