With regards to your quest¡on Number 2. " Description of work
2a. The 2O'xL4' will be used for wine storage.
2b. The proposed 20x74. Structure will be completed congruent with a 50 x 30 detached garage.
2.c. I confirm thatthe 20xt4 structure is to be part of the permit scope and has not be withdrawn, deleted or
otherwise deferred for future construction sometime after the detached garage has been finished / finaled
out.
2.d. I confirm that the 20 x 14 structure will be placed in the location where the 20 x L5 shed was identified on the
original drainage and grading plans.

Thank you for hand- delivering REVISED updated plans for the Gardner detached garage
STRUCTURAL CLARIFICATION IS REQUESTED :
1. Revised building plan sheet S0.1dated 7/LO/23, generalstructural notes states: "bosic
wind speed 80 MPH exposure 8". We are slightly concerned the design may be a little
low.
For general awareness, based on the application date, the effective code for this case
will be 2015 IRC (see attached guide)with 115 mph (Ultimate Design). We request to
receive an email confirmation from Ted Guy, E.O.R. affirming the proposed structure
will comply with Garfield County's locally adopted codes for wind speed.
DESCRIPTION OF WORK:
2. The original DESCRIBE WORK on the building application receipted on May 22,2023
reads 50'x30' concrete garage and root cellar. W¡th hand written notes by our front
desk staff: Garage will hove heat. Application is for garøge only today (? perhaps the
final details for the root cellar were not yet completed during May's submission). W¡th
that being stated, the received grading and drainage plan depicts a 20 ft by L5 lt "shed"
in near proximity to the proposed 30 ft x 50 ft "garage". Resubmitted drawings from
TKGA dated July L0, 2023 indicate a 20 ft by 14 lt"wine cellor oddition". At this time,
we ask to receive an email reply from the permit holder or property owner(s) attesting
to the following:
2.a. State the proposed intended use for the 20 ft by 14 ft structure.
2.b. Confirm the proposed 20 ft x L4 ft structure will be constructed and completed
concurrent with the 50x30 detached garage.
2.c. Confirm the 20 ft x 14 ft structure is to be part of the permit scope and has not be
withdrawn, deleted or otherwise deferred for future construction sometime after the
detached garage has been finished / finaled out.
2.d. Confirm the 20 ft x 14 ft structure will be placed in location identified on the original
grading and drainage plan as 20 ft x L5 ft "shed".
