To be sure I interpret content in the application packet and plan drawings accurately, I ask to verify and confirm the following: QU ESTIONS: 1. The application materials indicate the building is intended for use as a garage / shop. 1.a. As the lot is currently vacant of existing building structures, will this building be an accessory building supporting agricultural irrigated pasture land or other agricultural purposes? 1.b. ls the garage / shop intended for property owner's private use only and as an accessory structure to a future residence? lf so, what is your estimated timeframe to submit a building permit application and plan drawings for the future residence? 1'c. ls the garage / shop intended for some other non-residential function or use, such as an existing or future commercial business operation, place of employment, construction business operations? Responses to items l.a. through L.c. will help us determine if this building is reviewed ond inspected under the 20L5 IRC or 2015 IBC code edition and to verify complionce with allowoble uses in a RIIRAL zone district. tF the building's intended use is os per listed in 1.b., then pleose do review and sign the attached Owner's Agreement. 2. The building permit application form states no private septic system or community sewer services. 2.a Are we correct in understanding the building will have no potable water supply and finished plumbing fixtures installed under this permit scope? 2.b. W¡ll any future DWV, floor drains, or rough-in plumbing be installed under the slab and "capped" above the slab pour for future installation? 3. The application form states no natural gas, propane or electrical heating. 3.a. Are we correct in understanding this will remain an unheated, unconditioned building under this permit scope? 3'b. As an unheated structure, are \ re correct in understanding there will be insulation installed in the roof system only? Do you know what kind of insulation and what insulation R-value will be installed? 3.c, Wlll any radiant heat tubing or heat matts be 'roughed - in' for future and installed within the slab and prior to concrete pour? 4. Will electric power y' service / lighting be installed in the interior / exterior of the building? No revisions to the submitted plan drawings are requested nor required at this time. Written answers to questions L-4 are needed from the owner tto be included in the building file record) and will enable us to finish your permit review.
