Hasselman Residence
Lot 7 Mountain Springs Ranch
Glenwood Springs, CO 81650
OWTS Permit #: SEPT-7439
August 8, 2023
Timothy,
On July 6, 2023, we visited the site of the Hasselman Residence under construction at
Lot 7 Mountain Springs Ranch near Glenwood in Garfield County, Colorado to observe the
OWTS installation pursuant to OWTS Permit # SEPT-7439. At the time of our site visit, the
owner had installed the new sewer line and cleanout adjacent to the residence, the new poly
1,500-gallon two-compartment septic tank with a pump in the second chamber, the new effluent
line, the ADV at the high point of the system, and the five gravelless chamber trenches. The
septic tank and distribution box were installed level with access brought to grade. The trenches
were mostly backfilled upon arrival, but photos were later sent depicting the chambers. The
trenches consisted of 14 Infiltrator Quick4 chambers per trench (70 total chambers, 820 ft 2 total
STA). Additionally, inspection ports were present at each end of each trench. In our opinion, this
system was installed in general conformance with Garfield County OWTS Regulations. No
further action or review from Garfield County Environmental Health is required regarding this
permit.
Thank you,
