L Graphically depict and show outline of the structure's building thermal envelope. Outline should
clearly show portions of the building to be conditioned inside the envelope (and label or otherwise
identify areas remaining unconditioned outside this thermal envelope).
2. Air sealing details around openings, pipes, penetrations joints
3. Energy efficiency lighting specifications-90% to be high-efficacy (LED complies)
4. Supply a revised Manual J Report that references a Winter Design Temperature = MINUS 2 for building
site location up to 7,000 ft elevation

Please see attached ResCheck report along with the requested cover sheet. Seeing that this is being submitted
eleetronieally, is there a need to provide 2 copies of it, or do we need to submit 2 hard copies as well?
The Manual J calculations are typically provided once a HVAC contractor is selected, which is what wc havc donc in thc
past with John Plano when he was in Carbondale. Please let us know if this is being handled differently at the County
and the contractor will have to get this done.
The street address issue is understood.
lf further information is needed, please let me know and we will put it together. This project was completed prior to the
code change, so any new project that is being submitted will have notes pertaining to the updated submission
requirements.

application packet and plans were remitted after the 2018 International Energy Conservation Code went into

compliance pøth, fenestrotion u-foctors for the selected windows / doors, proposed mechanicol system design
and efficiency rqtes, air sealing, lighting efficiency, ond lock of a Monual J Report for the home. For generøl
oworeness, during construction the building controctor or subcontroctor(s) should prepare to provide o blower
door test report and perform duct leokage testing. Aforced oir unit does oppear depicted in o mechonicol
alcove off the attqched gorage, however, it is unknown if any mechonical equipment will be instolled in crawl
spoces or ottics. Also unknown if there is to be a whole-house ventilotion system installed?
