Contractor shall provide all necessary sheeting, shoring and bracing where required to properly and safely complete the work. 2. Avoid excessive wetti reasonably free of water ng or drying of the foundation excavation during construction. Keep excavations at all time and completely free of water during placement of concrete. C. BEARING REQUIREMENTS 1 . Footings shall bear on natural undisturbed soil below the frost depth required by the applicable building code. Any discrepancies with the footing elevations shown on the plans shall be brought to the attention of the engineer. 2. Building shall be founded on continuous concrete spread footings placed on undisturbed natural soil. D. GENERALREQUIREMENTS 'l . Center foundations under columns and walls unless noted otherwise. 2. And review the more recent subsoil study from Kumar and Associates for design of the Chavez residence at Lot 15, Block 4, Battlement Creek Village, 195 Boulder Ridge Drive dated May 16, 2023? Please email a copy of Kumar & Associates report 2O-7-4L6 dated 9-23-2O20 as referenced on structural design sheet 54. 2. Please subnrit a prepared copy of the MANUAL J Report for review and verification during plans examination and prior to building perm¡t issuance. As Garfield County Building Division does not process separate sub-permits for mechanical contracting work during active construction, this will help us verify code compliance with the recently adopted 2018 IECC. 2 REQUESTED ACTION: Email electronic copy of the requested report(s) to me at your next convenience, cwirth@earfield- countv.com.
