This letter is to document changes to the approved plans for the subject project.
Please refer to the attached revised details 18 & 19/S3,2 for changes to the bearing wall rafter
attachment to top plates and the rake wall roof framing.
Additionally, approved plans showed three garage doors with a header height of 9-ft and the
far left door was installed with a 12-ft plate height, negat¡ng the far left shear wall, The
following are structural remediation requirements due to this change: 3x blocking shall be
installed at all abutting shear panel edges and edge nailing along the front wall of the garage
shall be at 3" o.c.. The straps from headers to blocking and holdowns are sufficient as
installed according to the approved plans.
