Hello Jim,
I got the AMENDED Manual J / S reports prepared by Jimmy DeHart dated September 26,2023.
Manual J / S Septem ber 26 copies I received are for the main house project (l'll begin reviewing in another couple of
weeks).
AMENDED sheets do not appear to include your "garage" and "garage upper level" pages -
Attached PDFs from September 1Q include the two gårage sheets I would like updated for our building file.
Please have Jimmy D run those two sheets and email to cwirth@garfield-countv.com
l'm going to go ahead and complete my workflow with the understanding you'll submit updated sheets when available
Thanks for being so responsive and staying on top of the project.
Teresa Bianco or Brooke Winschell will call or email you WHEN the garage permit is ready for pick up.
From view in the database, it looks like the companion SEPT- onsite wastewater treatment permit application for the
main house & detached garage is still in status = UNDER REVIEW'
Garfield County Public Health Department staff process the SEPT- permits (contact phone is 970-945-6614).
Hopefully, everything will run smoothly for the project moving forward, hope you have a good day!

All prescriptive path requirements (namely the IECC tables you referenced) are on the cover sheet of the
project, A000.

I haven't received an UPDATED ManualJ report from (Jimmy) nor confirmat¡on on
PRESCRIPTIVE PATH (and/or PRESCRIPTIVE UAALTERNATIVE RESCHECK PATH) from
Scott Beans.
l've cc: Scott, but unfortunately, don't have any contact information for Jimmy.
lf Scott included the energy compliance path on the resubmitted sheets, then,

Thanks! Got sheets 4100 on my desk and working on redlining and stamping your
REVISED updated full síze plan sheets.
TWO THINGS:
MANUAL J REPORT
l'm requesting someone check the data for the Manual J report.
For general awareness, I did notice the Manual J report for the main house and
detached garage includes in the WRIGHTSOFT program -
What appears to be a WINTER DESIGN temperature of 7 degrees.
And further references a proposed site elevation = 5,545 ft.
While August tL,2023 architect stamped SITE PLAN sheet 4001 shows a site elevation
for the detached garage at 5,958 ft
Garfield County does have a locally adopted amendment in our Building Resolution
posted on website link

With a site elevation of (5,545 ft?) or (5,958 ft?) at 32 River Ridge, we are looking for a
WINTER DESIGN TEMPERATURE of minus 2 degrees.
Please ask Jimmy DeHart (or whomever ran the Wrightsoft report) to go back and
double check numbers?
See if there are any resulting changes to proposed mechanical systems or to the actual
MANUAL J report?
I don't have any contact information for Jimmy, so am sending communication c/o you.

Forgive, if l've missed or overlooked seeing this in earlier email chains, will the private
office living space and living spaces above be designed pursuant to:
HERS RateT REMRATE, UA ALTERNATIVE RESCHECK, oT coNvCNtiONAI PRESCRIPTIVE
ENERGY tables from the 20L8 IECC????
Confirmation will help me with remaining "stamps" on the FIELD COPY, thanks!
ln the meantime, l'll continue working on marking up your revised blueprints.
When and if there are further updates for both the house and the garage Manual J's, l'm
happy to add updates to both building permit files.
