l've been corresponding with Jeff about separatíng the garage from the rest of the house at grídline #4 with a fire wall per IBC Section 706. That arrângement
would be acceptable and would be consistent wíth the County's fíre code amendment of IFC Sectíon 903.2.

l'm to understand for purpose of interpreting the overall total "fire area", that the Fire Department is considering the total living area + attached garage +
including the covered porches. Therefore, exceeds 6,200 sq ft fire area.

Thanks for reaching out to us on this- Based on the description below, it appears as though the 6,200 SF requírement is calculated based on finíshed living space,
which to my understanding does not include the mechanical room or storage rooms off of the garage. Therefore, we should be just under the 6,200 SF
requirement at 6,163 SF of finished living space.
Please review and let me know your thoughts on this.
