1805 UL and ASTM Standards 5.22 (2).pd1; Miller_Heater_Spec.pdf
HiColleen,
Thank you for taking my phone call this morning! We are working on getting full-sized blueprints of the site plan for your
review. These will be submitted somet¡me next week.
ln the meantime, I wanted to get you the information requested for comments two and three
Garfield County ødopted the 2078 IECC in June 2023. Please supply supplementol information demonstrating
how the proposed equipment instollation will meet the ddopted energy code.
The pool and spa heaters have an automatic shut-off once the water reaches a set temperature. The heater will only run
while the water is heating up but will remain turned off when they are not in use. Furthermore, the on and off switches
are easily accessible on the equipment itself and can be manually turned off if need be. I have attached a copy of the
equipment spec sheet for your review.
No pool barrier or spa cover details were found in the plan submission. Garfield County has adopted the
2015 ISPSC. Please provide more information showing how the installation complies with the 2015 ISPSC
The pool and spa will be equipped with locking safety covers. The safety certificate for these covers is attached for your
review.
lf you need any additional information or clarification please let me know
