Jack,
I was attempting to get this reviewed quickly and not let it sit 4-5 weeks in Colleen's que. I have a few questions,
o I need a detail for the reinforced slab under the elevator.
o The insulation chart is not current, looks like it's the 2009 IECC, we have the 20L9 IECC adopted'
r How is the new ramp constructed to access the front door?
I will be attaching an elevator handout from NWCCOG, they will be inspecting the elevator.
Also, I attached a building guide for ramps at single family homes. I suggest, as they do, is to have a 5' landing at the
bottom for maneuvering wheelchairs. The new motorized wheelchairs are larger.
Heartbreaking when a home went in Carbondale and the client could not fit in the elevator with his motorized
wheelchair! There is no minimum car size in the residential code mmercial code. Just a heads uP!
Sincerely,
John Plano
