Subject: Final Acceptance Letter
491 High Aspen Drive
Glenwood Springs, CO 81601
OWTS Permit #: SEPT‐7833
December 21, 2023
On August 24, 2023, we visited the property at 491 High Aspen Drive near Glenwood Springs in Garfield County,
Colorado to observe the OWTS installation pursuant to OWTS Permit # SEPT‐7833. At the time of our site visit, the
contractor had installed the new cleanout adjacent to the residence, the new sewer line, the new concrete 1,500‐
gallon two‐compartment septic tank followed by a 500‐gallon pump chamber with a high‐head pump in the
chamber, the pump line, the Automatic Distributing Valve (ADV), and the 2,496 ft2 Soil Treatment Area (STA). The
STA consists of two four‐row chamber beds of 26 Infiltrator Quick4 chambers per trench (208 chambers total). The
new tanks and ADV were installed level with access to grade. The ADV was installed at the high point of the OWTS.
Observation ports were installed at each end of each trench. Additionally, we received a certification letter from
the OWTS designer indicating the OWTS was generally installed according to specifications. The designer indicated
that the system was installed in the locations suggested on their design drawing. In our opinion, this system was
installed in general conformance with Garfield County OWTS Regulations. No further action or review from
Garfield County Environmental Health is required regarding this permit.
Thank you,
