We observed shear paneling and nailing on the full height 8" framed wall designated as 1-3.4. The frame and shear nailing and pattern, 8d @ 6-12 were verified and found to be acceptable. As discussed on site, please note the following: . For shear wall 1-3.5, it will be acceptable 1o have the County Building lnspector verify the shear paneling and nailing prior to erecting the panels.. Clarifying General Notes, General, item 8, we would like to perform the observation of structural items following the completion of framing and shear paneling. Please leave the holdowns for shear wall 1-42 visiþle and shear paneling for those areas can follow our observation.. We will be issuing miscellaneous drawing clarifications discussed on site.
