Box 373 Denver, CO 80202 Glenwood Springs, CO 81602 INSPECTION REPORT 3/8/2023 Stephanie Hernandez & Mike Jelks 2551 South Gilpin Street Denver, CO 80210 Slopeside Engineers, LLC PO Box 373 Glenwood Springs, CO 81602 Reference: 57 Grosbeak Residence 57 Grosbeak Place Glenwood Springs, CO 81601 Dear Garfield County Inspector, Brian Westerlind & Ole Westfield at Olaf Jean have requested a letter to confirm the structural adequacy for the rebar and attachments in several pilasters, footings, and a wall at 57 Grosbeak Pl in Glenwood Springs, CO. Slopeside Engineers reviewed the reinforcing provided at all the indicated locations and has determined that the provided reinforcing for these locations is structurally acceptable. The locations in which the rebar and structural adequacy was confirmed include: (2) Pilasters and footings at the front entrance, (2) pilasters and footings between grids 11&12 at grid H & I respectively, and the wall along grid 12 & C. Slopeside Engineers did not verify exact locations of the foundation elements. If there are any further questions or concerns regarding these areas, please give us a call at the number listed below. This includes any non-structural related concerns, such as, but not limited to, electrical, plumbing, environmental concerns (water, mold/mildew, hazardous or toxic materials, etc), soils, soils special inspection requirements, subgrade preparation, or other structural issues. Absolute causes and/or conclusions cannot be guaranteed with an inspection of this nature. Slopeside Engineers has conducted our field visit in a manner that is consistent with standard skill and care exercised by firms in this area and locality. The intent is to check general conformity to construction documents and this report is not a substitution for project specific special inspection requirements or inspections by building officials.
