ATTACHED "GARFIELD COUNTY BUILDING REOUIREMENTS". NUMBER REFERENCES NOTED ON

ELECTRICAL PERMITTING AND INSPECTIONS BY COLORADO STATE ELECTRIC BOARD. ELECTRICAL
ROUGH-IN APPROVAL IS REOUIRED AT FRAME INSPECTION. ELECTRICAL FINAL APPROVAL IS
REOUIRED FOR FINAL INSPECTION & CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY.
ALL EXTERIOR LIGHTING TO BE DOWNCAST AND SHIELDED.
WILDFIRE MITIGATION RECOMMENDATIONS: SHALL COMPLY WITH WILDFIRE MITIGATION AND
DEFENSIBLE SPACE RECOMMENDATIONS PER COLORADO STATE FOREST SERVICE AND LOCAL FIRE
DISTRICT. PLEASE REFER TO THE GARFIELD COUNTY COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT WEBSITE FOR
ADDITIONAL I N FORMATION.
SEPTIC SYSTEM REVIEW / APPROVALS: PRIOR TO FINAL BUILDING INSPECTION & CERTIFICATE OF
OCCUPANCY PROVIDE FINAL APPROVAL /SIGN-OFF FROM GARFIELD COUNTY'S PUBLIC HEALTH
DEPT.
BIOWER DOOR TEST IS REOUIRED FOR THE ADU (ACCESSORY DWELLING UNIT OCCUPANCY
AREA). M UST SUBM IT BLOWER DOOR TEST REPORT TO GARFI ELD COUNTY COMM UN ITY
DEVELOPMENT DEPT. OFFICE PRIOR TO SCHEDULING FINAL BUILDING INSPECTION / C.O. FINAL.
PRESCRIPTIVE PATH REFERENCING RESCHECK REPORT IS CHOSEN FOR ENERGY COMPLIANCE OF
THE ADU. SEE ATTACHED MANUAL J COOL CALCS REPORT, ALL NEW HOMES TO HAVE WHOLE-
HOUSE MECHANICAL VENTIIATION SYSTEM INSTALLED (2015 IRC TABLE m1 507.3.3(1 ) AND (2)AS
STAMPED ON THE FIELD COPY.
NO SUBMISSION OF ANY STRUCTURAL FOUNDATION NOR FRAMING PLANS WERE INCLUDED WITH
THE ARCHITECTURAL SHEETS FOR THE PROPOSED 850 SO FT ADU. CORE AND SHELL STEEL
STORAGE BUILDING PERMIT BLRE-06-23-81 71 REMAINS IN "ACTIVE" STATUS AT TIME OF PLANS
EXAMINATION, WITH AN UNDERGROUND PLUMBING INSPECTION ON APRIL 26,2024. NO NON-
BEARING PARTITION FRAMING MATERIAL DETAIL OR FASTENER CONNECTIONS PROVIDED. IT SHALL
REMAIN GARFIELD COUNry BUILDING INSPECTOR JUDGMENT AND DISCRETION TO DETERMINE
ANY REOUIRED INSPECTIONS CONCURRENT WITH THE NEWLY ISSUED ADU PERMIT #BLRE-06.24-
8726. BUILDING INSPECTOR HAS AUTHORITY TO DETERMINE IF ANY DEFERRED STRUCTURAL
ENGINEER DETAILS SHALL PERTAIN FOR AS-BUILT CONSTRUCTION AT TIME OF FRAME INSPECTION.
