MEZZANINE LOADING AND SI.AB DESIGN
Auxiliary columns, frame columns, endwall columns, floor
beams and mezzanine joists are designed to adequately
support the mezzanine area shown on the mezzanine
framing plan. Design is based on the following criteria:
Live Load 125 psf
Dead Load 55 psfdeck and concrete
6 psf collateral load (ceiling, sprinkler, etc.)
0 psf partitions
Actual dead loads of floor beams and mezzanine joists
are used for design. Design is based on standard weight
concrete (145 pcfl.
The non-composite steel deck is provided as a form only
for the placement of the concrete slab. The deck is
designed per the Steel Deck lnstitute's Criteria for
maximum construction clear span. The concrete and its
reinforcement must be capable of supporting the design
loads indicated above.
HANGAR DOOR SUPPORT FMMING
The door support framing provided by Chief Buildings shall
be adjusted and secured in a true, level, and square position
as the door framing and other materials not by Chief
Buildings are installed. The door support framing and their
connections shall then have field welding shown in details
performed.
The measurements to determine true, level and square
position of the door support framing is the responsibility of the
Buyer/Contractor and/or the End Owner.
