OWTS Permit #: SEPT-7193
August 19, 2024
On May 20, 2024, we visited the site of the residence under construction at 926 Seneca Drive near Silt in
Garfield County, Colorado to observe the OWTS installation pursuant to OWTS Permit # SEPT-7193. At
the time of our site visit, the owner had installed the new sewer line and cleanout adjacent to the
residence, the new concrete 1,250-gallon two compartment septic tank, effluent line, the distribution
box, and the three gravelless chamber trenches. The septic tank and distribution box were set level with
access provided at grade and an effluent filter in the outlet tee of the septic tank. The trenches
appeared to be level and consisted of 18 Infiltrator Quick4 chambers per trench (54 total chambers, 648
ft2 total STA). Additionally, inspection ports were present at each end of each trench. We received an as-
built drawing of the constructed system and a letter certifying that the system was constructed in
general conformance with the permitted design from the OWTS designer dated May 23, 2024. In our
opinion, this system was installed in general conformance with Garfield County OWTS Regulations. No
further action or review from Garfield County Environmental Health is required regarding this permit.
