REOUIRED FOR FINAL INSPECTION & CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY.
4) WILDFIRE MITIGATION RECOMMENDATIONS: SHOULD COMPLY WITH WILDFIRE MITIGATION AND
DEFENSIBLE SPACE RECOMMENDATIONS PER COLORADO STATE FOREST SERVICE AND LOCAL FIRE
DISTRICT. PLEASE REFER TO THE GARFIELD COUNTY COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT WEBSITE FOR
ADDITIONAL I N FORMATION.
5) OPEN HOLE SOTLS REPORT tS REOUTRED AT FOOTING INSPECTION AND PRIOR TO ANY CONCRETE
POUR. PROVIDE COPY OF GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEERS REPORT TO THE BUILDING INSPECTOR.

APPROVAL REPORTAT FRAMING INSPECTION (MAY BE REOUIRED BASED ON BUILDING INSPECTOR
DISCRETION BASED UPON FIELD OBSERVATION OF ON-SITE CONDITIONS AT TIME OF FRAMING
TNSPECTTON).
8) A LOT tMPROVEIVIENT CERT|F|CATE, SEALED BY A COLORADO LICENSED SURVEYOR lS REOUIRED AT
FOUNDATION INSPECTION TO VERIFY STRUCTURE _ INCLUDING PROPOSED ROOF OVERHANGS,
DECKS AND OTHER PROJECTIONS _ IS IN COMPLIANCE WITH MINIMUM SETBACKS AND/OR
BUILDING ENVELOPE REOUIREM ENTS.
9) FLOODPLAIN ELEVATION CERTIFICATE: A FLOODPLAIN ELEVATION CERTIFICATE (FEMA FORM),
SEALED BY A COLORADO PROFESSIONAL LICENSED SURVEYOR, IS REOUIRED PRIOR TO FRAME
INSPECTION. THIS CERTIFICATE SHALL VERIFY THAT FINISH FLOOR ELEVATION IS A MINIMUM OF 12
I NCH ES ABOVE FLOODPLAI N ELEVATION.
1O) ANY CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITY THAT CHANGES THE BASIC CHARACTER OR TOPOGRAPHY OF THE
NATURAL LAND LOCATED IN THE 'IOO-YEAR FLOODPLAIN MUST FIRST OBTAIN A "FLOODPLAIN
DEVELOPMENT PERMIT" THROUGH GARFIELD COUNTY'S PLANNING DEPARTMENT.
11) CAREFUL: MUST NOT REMOVE VEGETATION FROM 35 FT RIPARIAN ZONE MEASURES FROM THE
HIGH WATER MARK.
