2. We are using 2018 IECC Perspective path tabte R4O2.1.2 However we are insulation better than
code requirements. See insutation sheet attached.
3.Exhaust fans on[y.
4. Attached a wa[[ section showing insutation and catting out attic and craw[ as unconditioned.
S.There wil,t be NO LP equipment located in attic or crawtspace.
6.PLease disregard the pl.an detaitcal,ting out attic access. Truss are not load bearing and there witt NOT
be any storage or tiving space above gage.

GORREGTIONS / QUESTIONS AS FOLLOWS:
With regard to the EMS HVAC Load Catcutator dated 7/17/2024, the report [ists a
WINTER outdoor temperature of 32 degrees. Garfiel,d County's WINTER DESIGN
TEMPERATURE for sites with etevation at 5,625 ft = MINUS 2 degrees F. Please
re-check the toad cal,cutations and proposed equipment parameters and resubmit
a REVISED report demonstrating comptiance with Garfietd County's Local.ty adopted
buitding code amendments. (adopted WINTER DESIGN TEMPERATURE incLuded in
the attached PDF.)
2. White the architecturat cover sheet states "energy and insutation per 2018", it is
unknown or unclear what ENERGY COMPLIANCE PATH lS CHOSEN? Some
architectural references on the cover sheet list Southe rn Louisiana.
2.a. Areyou designing and instal,ting buitding assembties in accordance with 2018
IECC PRESCRIPTIVE PATH, TABLE R402.1.2?
2.b. Are you instaLl.ing in accordance with the 2018 IECC PRESCRIPTIVE PATH
using UA tradeoffs and a RESCheck Report? lf so, ptease submit your RESCheck
Report....
2.c. Are you instal.l,ing in accordance with an 2018 IECC PERFORMANCE PATH
using a HERSRater or other? lf so, ptease submit the performance software report
prepared by the rater or energy professionat.
3. What method of WHOLE-HOUSE VENTILATION are you proposing for this home
design?

4. No graphic depiction of the BUILDING THERMAL ENVELOPE or outtine of the

6. Architectural sheet 41.0 depicts a 20- minute attic stair in the garage Lid.
6.a. What is the proposed or intended use of the garage attic? Non-habitabte
garage storage on[y? Unfinished future residentiat tiving space or other?
6.b. No attic access opening is graphicatty depicted in the garcge on Studio M S3.0
and S.4 sheets? Want to ensure there's no field cutting / compromising of the
engineered truss layout. Request the structuraI engineer of record verify attic access
