9) NO RADON TESTING OR PROPOSED RADON MITIGATION PLAN DETAILS INCLUDED IN SUBMITTED
PLAN DRAWINGS BY THE OWNER BUILDER. STAFF RECOMMENDS A RADON TEST TO BE

PROJECT, OWNER BUILDER IS INFORMED OF SOLE RESPONSIBILIry TO ACHIEVE AND MAINTAIN
POSITIVE SURFACE DRAINAGE AWAY FROM BUILDING FOUNDATION. CONSTRUCTION ACTIVIry
AND SITE GRADING WORK MUST NOT ADVERSELY IMPACT STORM WATER CHANNEL AND
DRAINAGE. OWNER BUILDER IS FURTHER ADVISED IF POSITIVE DRAINAGE IS NOT OBSERVED BY

R-VALUES AND WINDOW / DOOR U-FACTORS AND GENERAL DATA REFERENCES FROM CLIMATE
ZONE 5 2O18 IECC .- LIMITED INFORMATION HAS BEEN FURNISHED REGARDING THE AIR SEALING
AROUND JOINTS, PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION OF THE THERMAL ENVELOPE, AND PROPOSED
MECHANTCAL EOUtpMENT OR SOURCE(S) FOR WHOLE HOUSE VENTILATION. UPON SUBMIISSION
OF MANUAL J REPORT AND SOME WALL SECTION DETAIL, IT IS (PRESUMED)THE OWNER BUILDER
WILL CONSTRUCT PURSUANT TO THE PRESCRIPTIVE PATH AND 201B IECC TABLE R402.1.2 FOR
ENERGY COMPLIANCE. OWNER BUILDER NEEDS TO CAREFULLY MANAGE THE JOB SITE TO ENSURE
