Your code compliance review is going fairly well.
I do not have specific plan sheet corrections for you at this time.
On Monday, I anticipate finishing the PUD GUIDE / zoning review for Lot 31
CORRECTION :
FYI The WRIGHTSOFT Manual J Report from Rapid Creek Mechanical dated September
25,2024 appears to have an error on it.
Garfield County has adopted a winter design temperature of MINUS 2 degrees F, for all
properties up to 7,000 ft in site elevation.

Unfortunately, the MANUAL J report supplied for this particular lot seems to suggest a higher
WINTER DESIGN TEMP of +6.6 or +7 degrees F.
We're concerned the design may be inadequate for the site, and ask that you reach out to
your MECHANICAL CONTRACTOR /
SUPPLY HOUSE. Have them prepare an AMENDED AND CORRECTED MANUAL J REPORT for
us to scan into the building file.
When available, PROOFREAD the REVISED MANUAL J REPORT -- make sure CORRECTIONS
have been made with no typos as I'd like to avoid any further delays in processing your
building permit.
Please also confirm in writing your specific ENERGY COMPLIANCE PATH for this hcme is
PRESCRIPTIVE PATH using 2018 IECC and Table R4O2.1.2.
While 2018lECC reference content is shown on your architectural sheets, NO ACTUAL
WRITTEN STATEMENT was found on page(s) to CONFIRM your selected ENERGY PATH???
Garfield County Building staff do not wish to dictate for you which path you build to; we hope
to make it clear for the building inspector so they can efficiently complete your inspections
without question or guessing if "trade offs" apply.
