ADU Retaining Wall Analysis
October 4th, 2024
The existing conditions onsite at 4362 County Road 100 have been reviewed and analyzed by
Crystal River Civil (CRC). The boulder wall being reviewed was built to provide adequate grade
change between the existing structure and the constructed autocourt. It is approximately 8 feet
from the existing structure, varies in height from 2 - 6 feet, and extends roughly 70 feet. The
layback of the wall varies between 0.75:1 - 1.5:1 and the rocks utilized for the wall are adequately
sized and properly set into the embankment. Given the adequate layback, boulder size, and
setback from the structure, CRC is not concerned about the construction, integrity, grading, or
drainage regarding this retaining wall, and that there are no negative implications to the existing
structure.
If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
