Subject: Final Acceptance Letter

New Castle, CO 81647
OWTS Permit #: SEPT-8077
November 4, 2024
On July 31, 2023, we visited the site of the residence under construction at 18 Harvest Lane
near New Castle in Garfield County, Colorado to observe the OWTS installation pursuant to
OWTS Permit # SEPT-8077. At the time of our site visit, the contractor had installed the new
sewer line and cleanout adjacent to the residence, the new poly 1,500-gallon two-compartment
septic tank with an effluent filter in the outlet tee of the tank, the new effluent line, the new
distribution box, and the six gravelless chamber trenches. The septic tank and distribution box
were installed level with access brought to grade. The trenches consisted of 15 Arc36 chambers
per trench (90 total chambers, 1,350 ft2 total STA). Additionally, inspection ports were present at
each end of each trench. We received an as-built drawing of the constructed system and a letter
certifying that the system was constructed in general conformance with the permitted design
from the OWTS designer dated October 20, 2024. In our opinion, this system was installed in
general conformance with Garfield County OWTS Regulations. No further action or review from
Garfield County Environmental Health is required regarding this permit.
