Field Observation Report

Peter,
As requested, we visited the above site on November 4, 2024 to observe the construction to date. At the time of the site visit,
the primary structural systems were essentially complete. The roofing underlayment was installed, and the exterior wall
sheathing had been installed. The reardeck had not been framed yet.
During the site visit, it was noted that the double microlam beam in the upper floor at the edge of the stair had been gouged in
the bottom of the beam with a drill bit during the electrical installation and the master bath toilet flange installation required a
slight notch in the edge of one adjacent l-joist top flange. These two slight structural modifications are acceptable as
observed. Also noted during the site visit was the garage panel shear wall nailing was not installed at the appropriate nail
spacing. Additional shear wall nailing shall be installed to bring the nailing in compliance with the shear wall schedule for these
two walls.
Once any above noted items are complete, the construction to date appears to be in general conformance with the structural
contract documents. Please call our office if you have any questions regarding this report.
