I was on site to observe the final framing conditions of the propefty referenced above. The
framing and miscellaneous amendments were in place and appeared to be as directed. The
following are items of note that varied from the original plans or were noted by the building
inspector for our review.
Item 1: Theuseof Grade8boltsinlieuof the A3l5boltsspecifiedbytheplansareacceptablein
this application.
Item 2: The Entry door had a steel frame installed in lieu of the original in.wall header specified
on the plans' This issue was coordinated with us and performed under our direction and is
acceptable as installed.
Item 3: The raised platform at the Laundry was added from the original stair opening. This work
was done under our direction and is acceptable as installed.
Item 4: I reviewed the column pack-outs at the upper floor framing system and they appear to be
installed as required.
Item 5: There was a small notch in the upper flange of a floor joist approximately 6" from the end
of the joist. Due to the specific location this notch is acceptable without remediation.
Item 6; The Entry Deck geometry and framing was revised from our original plans. 'W'e have
reviewed and documented the revised condition. See Clarification C1.1.2 for additional
information. The deck is acceptable as installed.
Item 7: i have reviewed the revised window layout and the impact to the shear wall lateral system.
The remaining solid walls that have been blocked and nailed off p.r the plans is adequate for the
structure. No remediation was required, and the existing condition is acceptabie as installed.
