At the time of our site visit, the contractor had installed a new 1,500-gallon two-compartment poly septic tank with an effluent filter in the outlet tee of the tank and a new distribution box connected to the existing STA at the property. The installed septic tank is found on the approved list of septic tanks by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) and appeared to be installed level with access brought to grade. The distribution box was also installed level with access brought to grade. We received a letter from the designer (dated September 24, 2024) that indicated the system was installed in general conformance with the plans and specifications as permitted. In our opinion, this tank was installed in general conformance with Garfield County OWTS Regulations. No further action or review from Garfield County Environmental Health is required regarding this permit. Thank you, Edward R. “Ted” White, P.E.
