correct? Yes, that's correct.
1.b. No construction workto the barn or bunkhouse is expected to be examined now, nor anticipated to be
ADDED onto the f orthcoming issued buil.ding permit duringthe course of future inspections at the
residence, correc{? Correct. When speaking with the buitding officiat in person, he advised that the barn
woutd be considered agricutturat and woutd not require a permit. So atthough shown on the set of ptans, it
witt not be a part of this or any permit. There are 2 separate permits for roofing. 1 on the bunkhouse and 1
on the otd cabin. This cabin is not habitabte but we got a permit regardtess.
2. lnasmuch as the buitding apptication form tists type of construction as "residentiat" -- am I correct the
home is currentty (and in future) occupied as a private residence? This is a private residence, yes'
2.a. Not utitized (or ptanned at project comptetion for use) as a non-residentiat, commerciaI business
operation with members of generaI publ.ic and emptoyee business use(s)?
(plans examiner nofices Leah"s note:' re-installing existing guards' -- request to re-confirm private
residential use and no change in occupancy to an 2018 IBC commercial building use with other

3. Reviewing KRM Tim Hennum's stamped 51 (Job 2408-13)......... l'm noticing at deck "contact Engineer, if
new pier and/or pier extension required, various locations.
3.a. Has there been any exploration to examine existing piers? There has not been exploration bel'ow
grade.
3.b. ls the pretiminary design ptan to attach new deck f raming to existing poured piers? Yes, that is the
ptan.
3.c. Do you anticipate "deferred structurat submittat detaits by KRM for new foundation pier work? There
witL not be newfoundation work at the deck. Onty at the barn which won't be permitted.
3.d. Am I correct, in presuming the "foundation plans" on 52 and retated detaits on that page WILL NOT
pertain to the forthcoming deck reptacement scope (but rather relate to separate barn / bunkhouse NOT
reftected in this current buitding apptication)? Correct.
3.e. Simitarly, roof framing plan on 53 is NOT appticabte to this current buitding apptication? Correct.
3.f. 51 Deckframing ptan "generaI notes" Foundation Design a. lists a maximum atlowable bearing
pressure of 2,000 psf and c. further references geotechnical report by Kumar & Associates 24-7-567 ....
3.f.1Are these'generaI notes'intended to be attached to the residentiat deckAND the bunkhouse / barn
tocations? No report by Kumar & Associates found in the apptication fotder.
3.t.21betieve an emait confirmation on deck foundation design by Tim witt be sufficient. Where you are
using existing piers, I woutd presume there be no geotechnicat engineers field observation and no related
