At the time of our site visit, the homeowner had installed the new poly 1,250-gallon two-compartment septic tank, the new effluent line, the manifold, and the gravelless chamber beds. An effluent filter had been installed in the outlet tee of the septic tank. The Soil Treatment Area (STA) consisted of a three-row gravelless chamber bed with 14 ARC 36 chambers per row (42 chambers total chambers, 630 ft2 total STA). Inspection ports were present at each corner of the bed. We received a letter from the system designer dated November 17, 2023, which indicated the OWTS was installed in general conformance with the design. Lastly, we received an as-built drawing of the system from the parcel owner in an email dated December 12, 2024. In our opinion, this system was installed in general conformance with Garfield County OWTS Regulations. No further action or review from Garfield County Environmental Health is required regarding this permit. Thank you, Edward R. “Ted” White, P.E.
