At the time of our site visit, the contractor had installed the new sewer line and cleanout adjacent to the building, the new poly 1,000-gallon two-compartment septic tank with an effluent filter in the outlet tee of the tank, the new effluent line, and the gravelless chamber trench. The septic tank was installed level with access brought to grade and is on the accepted septic tank list published by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment. The trench consisted of 8 Quick4 chambers (96 ft2 total STA) and appeared to be level. Additionally, inspection ports were present at each end of the trench. We received an as-built drawing of the constructed system and a letter certifying that the system was constructed in compliance with the permitted design from the OWTS designer dated December 6, 2024. In our opinion, this system was installed in general conformance with Garfield County OWTS Regulations. No further action or review from Garfield County Environmental Health is required regarding this permit. Thank you, Edward R. “Ted” White, P.E.
