OWTS Permit #: SEPT-8959
January 6, 2025
On December 20, 2024, we visited the site of the residence at 225 County Road 266 near Silt in
Garfield County, Colorado to observe the OWTS installation pursuant to OWTS Permit # SEPT-
8959. At the time of our site visit, the owner had installed the new sewer line and cleanout
adjacent to the residence, the new poly 1,250-gallon two-compartment septic tank with an
effluent filter in the outlet tee of the tank, the new effluent line, and five serial gravelless
chamber trenches. The septic tank was installed level with access brought to grade. The
trenches consisted of varying numbers of Quick4 chambers per trench (62 total chambers, 744
ft2 total STA) and appeared to be level. Additionally, inspection ports were present at each end
of each trench. We received an as-built drawing of the constructed system and a letter certifying
that the system was constructed in compliance with the permitted design from the OWTS
designer dated December 19, 2024. In our opinion, this system was installed in general
conformance with Garfield County OWTS Regulations. No further action or review from Garfield
County Environmental Health is required regarding this permit.
