Resolved Notice of Violation
Constance and Thomas Russello,
On December 12, 2024, Garfield County Public Health (GCPH) staff performed a system installation inspection
of a new Onsite Wastewater Treatment System (OWTS) on the
property located at 3600 Bear Paw Lane (Parcel ID Number:
218517400152) near Glenwood Springs in Garfield County,
Colorado associated with OWTS Permit No. SEPT-8962. This
letter provides notice that you have met all the requirements of
the Notice of Violation issued by GCPH on November 18,
2024, and that the NOV is hereby RESOLVED. To receive a
Final Acceptance Letter for the new OWTS (required for
Certificate of Occupancy of a new residence), GCPH will
require a certification letter and as-built drawing from the
designer of the new OWTS, as well as proof that the existing,
unpermitted septic tank has been removed or crushed in place,
as required by the Garfield County OWTS Regulations.
Please contact Ted White, OWTS Compliance Officer with GCPH at (970) 665-6383 or twhite@garfield-
county.com to discuss this letter and answer questions you may have.
Sincerely,
Edward R. White, P.E.
