Dear George,
You have asked for a confirnation letterfrom the HOA confirming the type of water
service that will be provided to a dwelling built on Lot 8, and that there is adequate
water supply to this proposed residence & ADU. Since building plans have not been
subrnitted oi approved for Lot 8, I assume you are asking this preemptively as
Garfield County may ask you about water for this dwelling and ADU.
Type of Water$ervice:
The Wooden Deer Homeowners Association has a community well. Water is
pumped to a 50,000gallon water tank and is delivered to homes via a main water
line running down Wooden Deer Road.
Adequate Water SuPPIY:
The HOA cunently services 17 buift homes of the 22 Lots in the subdivision- The
Wooden Deer HOR nas Vlhter Rights fiom District Court, Vtlater Division 5, Original
Decree: Case No- g1CW189 "not to exceed 15.434 acre-feet per yeafl forthe entire
subdivision. These rights are limited to "ordinary household purposes inside 22
single-family-dwellings and attached caretaker units" (ADU)'
perour Declaration of Protective Covenants, each Homeowner is allocated 1t22nd
of this water and is required to limit water usage on an average daily basis (as
determined by quarteriy meter readings). The maximum water allowed per
homeowner perguartei is specified ai +7,270 gallons in Qtr 1,U,247 gallons in Qtr
2, 66,854 gallons in Qtr 3, and 49,729 gallons in Qb 4-
