1. We had Kumar & Associates come back out and take more soitsamptes June 25,
2024. This report dated Juty 8, 2024 (allached) tisted 2 foundation
recommendations for our engineer and architect to took at. We met with Kumar &
Associates on August 2,2024 at our excavation site. We discussed in depth the use
of the structural fitt, as outtined in their report dated Juty 8, 2024. Over the past
severaI months, we have received bids for piers and had many discussions with our
architect and engineers regarding piers verses compacted fitt for the foundation.
We witt be using the compacted structural, fitL for the foundation to be buitt on.
According to our engineer, architect and the soiI engineer, no changes to our current
foundation ptans are required, as we are "making the soil. fit the foundation ptans."
2.a. Equipment to be instatted in the Mechanical Room:
1. 52 Gatton Pressure Tank
2. Tanktess Water Heater
3. HVAC System - Gas (propane) 90%+ efficient with A/C
2.b. Mechanicat Room Ftoor Drain to connect to on-site wastewater system - YES
2.c. Separate Propane Drain to daytight - YES
2.d. Crawl,space witt NOT house any mechanical equipment or apptiances - a
Crawlspace ventitation fan, water & sewer pipes
2.e. Crawtspace ventitation fan, attic fan if required
3.a. The "Gun Room" - when finished wi[[ not be a locked door - it is just a room for gun
safes and retoading equipment. We are not opposed to moving the egress window
to where the smatter window is, if necessary.

3.b. We witl not be finishing the basement at this time. Timetine for finishing the
basement is undetermined at this time.
3.b.i. The interior watts for the Mechanical Room wil,L be f ramed in (sheet rock and
tape if required).
3.b.ii. We are keeping the basement unfinished at this time (sheet rock and
tape if required).
3.b.iii. We wil,l. be using a mechanicatexhaust ventitation that wil,t be connected to
whote house ventitation system.
4. This witt be determined by our HVAC contractor per code
