HomeMy WebLinkAboutApproval Letter-Re VegetationGarfield County April 1, 2025 Glenn Hartmann Garfield County Community Development Department RE: Certificate of Occupancy/Grading Permitfor 360 Cerise Ranch Road GRAD-12-21-7271 BLRE-03-23-8021 Dear Glenn, I was contacted by Scott DeWind, the construction manager for the primary residence at 360 Cerise Ranch Road, Carbondale, CO 81623 to approve the revegetation and weed management that followed grading and construction on the property. On 4/1/2025 1 performed a site visit at 360 Cerise Ranch Road at the prior request of Steve Anthony, the previous Vegetation Manager for Garfield County (as requested in his correspondence dated May 3, 2022). Upon inspection, Mr. DeWind informed me that the property owners have been adamant about weed control and have been continually removing any weeds via mechanical removal (hand - pulling, digging etc) and plan on continuing to do so. There were no remnant weed populations on the property and I am satisfied with the effort that the landowners have been putting forth. Therefore, staff approves the vegetation status at 360 Cerise Ranch Road and is satisfied that this condition of approval for the Certificate of Occupancy has been met.
