A Table of Special Inspections and Testing is shown on Sheet S-002 Structural General Notes. This table shows the Category/Material to be tested, the Component/Work to be tested and theTesting/Inspection Class to be performed on each item. Such inspections will be performed in accordance with the requirements and standards shown in Section 1704. The Architect and Structural Engineer will review all reports furnished by the Special Inspectors. The reports will indicate that the work inspected was done in conformance with approved construction documents. Discrepancies noted will be brought to the immediate attention of the Contractor for correction. If the discrepancies are not corrected, the discrepancies will be brought to the attention of the Building Official prior to the completion of that phase of the work. Upon completion of work items requiring special inspection, and receipt of final reports from the special inspectors, the Architect and Structural Engineer will submit to the Building Official a signed and stamped final report documenting that all required special inspections have been performed and correction of any discrepancies noted in the inspections have been completed.
