There are items that need to be addressed prior to considering the issuance of the building permit and items that can be addressed after the issuance of the building permit. Please provide a response letter addressing each item listed in the "ltems to address prior to issuing a building permit". Resolution#77-51 is allowing septic systems on a lot smaller than the regulations at that time. 1 The replacement home is larger than the existing home on the property. The existing septic system is to be approved by Garfield County Health Department (EH) for a 3-bedroom home. Sanitary facilities are required to be provided for workers. A list of required inspections will be attached to the plans. Foundation crawl space & exterior door landing / stairs shall comply with 2015 lRC, 2018 IECC, and manufacturer's installation requirements. Refer to plan attachments for Garfield County's building requirements and manufacturer's installation requirements. Wildfire mitigation recommendations should comply with wildfire mitigation and defensible space recommendations from Colorado State Forest Service and local fire district. Prior to final building inspection & certificate of occupancy, provide building inspector with final approval / sign-off from Garfield County's Public Health Department for installation of the on-site wastewater treatment system. Garfield county building dept. lnspections to include the following: A. Footings designed at 2,000 psf, verify 36 inch minimum frost depth & uferground installed. Open hole soils report required at first footing inspection. B. Foundation C. Septic system connection D. Plumbing/gas E. Site framing, stairs, handrails per structural engineers plans and field copy. F.
