General Remarks: As requested, a site visit was made to observe the soils exposed in the footing excavations. Per CTLIT report GS06929.000- 120-R1 , dated December 1 1 , 2024, lhe footings can be supported by the undisturbed, silty gravel andlor structural fill. The silty gravels encountered on the west side of the excavation are appropriate for footings support, however the clay material exposed at footing elevation on the east and south sides should be removed and replaced with densely compacted structural fill material per the report. The contractor wati notified of our observations. Additional site visits will be made with required. Per CTLIT report GS06929.000- 120-R1 , dated December 11, 2024, the footings can be supported by the undisturbed, silty gravel and/or structural fill. The contractor has removed the clayey soils encountered on the south and east sides ofthe excavation and has achieved proposed footing subgrade with densely compacted structural fill. We judge the footing excavation as appropriate for construction of spread footings. The contractor was notified of our olrservations. Additional site visits will scheduled with our office when required.
