To whom it may concern:
The purpose of this letter is to summarize the services provided by DB Structural Design Ltd. (DBSD)
as the structural engineer of record on the above-referenced project.
DBSD performed catculations and prepared drawings for the construction of the structure. Submittals
were reviewed as necessary. DBSD performed periodic site visits to observe the project under
construction for general compliance with the structural contract documents and responded to
construction questions from the fietd. These observations were not continuous or exhaustive,
therefore all conditions may not have been observed.
There were a few specific locations where the framing was interrupted with headers in order to
accommodate drains/ducting. Three joists were interrupted in the mechanical room adjacent to the
garage and one joist was interrupted in the primary bath for the toilet drain. Both of these
conditions are acceptable as framed.
Based on our observations and experience, to the best of our knowledge, the structure of the above-
referenced project was constructed in general conformance with the structural contract documents.
