CORRECTION LIST:
1. RESUBMIT (2) full sized paper sets of REVISED ARCHITECTURAL PLANS
referencing Garfield County's adopted 2018 International Energy Conservation
Code IECC and Climate Zone 5B. As plans were originally drafted in June 2022,
the previously adopted 2009 IECC edition and older R- values appear to be
referenced. The more stringent 2018 IECC went into effect on June 30,
2023. Thank you.
Response - Please see sheet CP-1 noting 2018 IECC as applicable energy code
2. RESUBMITTED plan sets should clearly state your chosen ENERGY
COMPLIANCE PATH:
2.a. If you intend to build according to the PRESCRIPTIVE PATH using Table R402.1.2
2018 IECC, please state this in writing directly on the architectural plan sheet(s).

2.b. If you intend to build according to the PRESCRIPTIVE PATH using a RESCHECK
REPORT, then please state this in writing and submit a current RESCHECK REPORT

3. Media Room and Office spaces on sheet A-101 have no natural light or natural
ventilation openings to the exterior. Can you please expound on what method
of mechanical ventilation is anticipated for these two living spaces?
Response - both the media room and office space shall utilize dedicated ERV's to ensure
aesh air delivery at a rate to meet IRC 2015 R303.4
4. The 55 sq ft "office" space accessed from the master bedroom does not meet
code minimum 7 ft room dimension nor minimum 70 sq ft minimum size for
habitable rooms under the adopted 2015 International Residential Code
Section R304. Please discuss other room configuration options with your
client. Please alter or amend this office space to comply to the 2015 IRC
Section R304 and resubmit (2) full size amended sheets A-101 for further review.
