To whom it may concern.
After Garfield County framing inspection on 10/24/2025 there were a few structural items that were
incomplete or did not match the structural drawings. Below is a list of those items from Garfield County
(Matt Provost) and the acceptable structural corrections.
1. Add clips and hangers per plan
a. At garage eave connection, Simpson A34 or A35 clip is acceptable or approved equal
b. Simpson LUS 210 hanger for deck joist
2. Add king studs per plan
a. At the garage windows, 1 trimmer and 1 king stud is acceptable
3. Add missing nails, hangers and clips on deck
a. Nails to be added to the hangers
b. Hanger to be added to 1 remaining joist
c. (3) Timber Lok screws were used in lieu of hangers at edge beam locations. This is
structurally acceptable.
4. Add SIDS screws to ledger
a. Ledger to be attached to house rim joist using (3) Y4"x4" wood screws @16" in between
each deck joist.
Inform Anthem of any other structural concerns prior to drywall installation.
