This project has gone in many directions since the issuance of the original permit. The owners
have been residing in a 5th wheel camper since the original permit was issued in November
2017.
My understanding is that there were some construction defects during construction and there
were civil actions taken by the homeowners. The home sat unfinished for several years and
exposed framing was compromised, forensic reports are in the file.
During the rectification of the defects the owners decided to remove the upper 2 stories of living
space to create a garage with storage above. The owner started the process of purchasing a
double wide mobile home as the primary residence.
The owner canceled the order of the double wide home and is pursuing finishing the storage
above the garage as a living space while a new home is being designed for the property.
